The next Green Card Lottery will be for fiscal year 2008. Paper applications are no longer accepted. Persons who are selected are entitled to claim immigrant visa (Green Card) that will be issued between October 1, 2008 and September 30, 2009.

STEP ONE
Complete the Green Card Lottery registration form.
The fee is US$300 and includes the United States Government immigration charge and your CV registration as a new INBIB member for on line Employer assessments.
STEP TWO
Become an INBIB member by registering and then list your Resume (CV) in the Members menu found on the right hand side of the page.
INBIB will administer your Lottery registration and send you a receipt after lodgement.
We will also take employer enquiries on your behalf and submit these to you. The State Department holds the lottery every year, and randomly selects approximately 110,000 applicants from all qualified entries. The State Department selects approximately 110,000 applications however many will not complete the visa process. Once 50,000 are issued or the fiscal year ends, the lottery is closed.
If you receive a visa through the Diversity Visa Lottery Program you will be authorized to live and work permanently in the United States. You will also be allowed to bring your spouse and any unmarried children under the age of 21 to the United States.
